The Logic of Positive Thinking

 Hello again. MR. Logicka is back today for another writing. As you can see the tittle, I would like to talk about positive thinking and its effect to our daily life or our life as a whole. However, I am not just wanted to talk about how you need to think positive in order to be happy. No, what I want to talk about is how to make your wish come true, just by thinking about it. Sounds like a bunch of boohockey doesn’t it? (>_<).

You see I have read this somewhere, that your mind is a powerful tool. You can wish for something to happen hard enough and put it inside your subconscious mind, and it is bound to happen. Again, it must sound unbelievable right? Then again if you think about it logically it has some truth in it. For example, if you want to have a great job and you think about it every day, you pray to God that you would get it, you even look in the mirror and talk about it to yourself. Then this thought would always exist subconsciously in your mind. Hence, all of your words and actions would bound to follow this thought, and eventually it could really attract that job that you want. Even if you already forgot about it, but deep in your mind you are aware ‘this is what I want!’

Okay, I feel like you still not convince that this could be done. Let us look into another angle. Have you ever feels vibe from someone or a place? You know, you look at a friend or someone you do not even know, and you feel some vibe. Something you cannot explain but you just know or feel it. If you look at a woman, and you think ‘oh she looks like a mother’ or your friend that work as a teach and you just know that he or she is a teacher just by looking at them. Even a place, like you walk into an empty room, and you can feel that it looks ‘sad’ or ‘cheerful’ or ‘happy’. This is the vibe I am talking about. You see, the theory is, thoughts also can be perceived as some type of energy. So, if you think about it, it is only logic you can feel it; the thoughts either they are conscious or non-conscious.

The vibe on a place must be because of the thought’s energy left behind by its previous occupants and the vibe from people is just a projection of what they are thinking or what they always thinking in their daily life. So there, your actions, your surroundings, daily activities or your job, and even your interactions could affect your thoughts. Hence, it also true the other way around. Your thoughts could affect your surroundings, and the outcome of something. If you believe thoughts is a form of energy, then whatever energy you give out must transform to another form of energy because energy cannot be created nor destroyed. That being said, your thoughts must have transferred somewhere and transformed into another form of energy.

Okay, before I bore you with all this energy talk. What I am trying to say is that positive thoughts would attract positive outcomes and negative thoughts would attract negative outcomes. It may sound that it does not make sense to you or crazy even because it looks like just by thinking you can affect the reality around you. The thing is, you would not know if you do not try it. You need to convince yourself subconsciously with positive thoughts and believe that you can achieve what you want for your future. If you want to buy a big house, convince yourself that you are in the way of getting it, if you want a promotion makes yourself believe you already there, or if you want to be happy in life then you must put a believe in you that you are already happy.

To alter this subconscious thought it is not as easy as ‘think about what you want every day’. You must find a way to make yourself, or your mind to believe it. Some people can make themselves believe something by picturing it before going to bed, some by talking out loud to themselves, and some by close their eyes and focusing on it in their mind. If you plant those seeds of believe in your subconscious mind, then those thoughts would grow into reality.

So why I am talking about this and put the title as ‘positive thinking’. Because in order for you to make yourself believe, you cannot have any seeds of doubt in your mind, and negative thoughts is just that. You must train yourself to think positively at every turn of event in your every day’s life, to make sure that your mind is not tainted. I know it is hard to do it because most of the times we used to go straight to the negative thought when we in doubt or see something we not sure. One of the ways to train is to argue with your thoughts when it goes straight to negative thinking. Stop your thought then starts to give positive reasons and counter it. If you do it over and over again, every time you have negative thoughts then I believe it could switch the way your mind works. Eventually your thoughts would go to the positives first. This is what I believe.

As for my experiences, I think I have it done once or twice in my life. One of it that I can remember is when I attend an interview with a big corporation. I was always a shy and not so outspoken. I also not very fluent in English cause it is not my native languages you see. But before I attend this interview, I convince myself that the interviewer did not know me yet and I am this confident and outspoken person. When I have the interview, I even surprise myself because I must have talked non-stop and confidently when they ask questions. As a result, I got the job (and by the way I also convinced myself that I would get a better job during this period and, it is).

So there, something to think about. I am not writing this to make you believe whatever I am saying but I call you to at least try it! Cause, you never know right? Ever heard a saying fake it till you make it? Well, it has some truth in it. Whether you believe it or not, it really is depending on you.
